Reach small businesses by phone and manage replies with Odile Direct

When a form is submitted, it processes form answers.

What it does

## Reach a business by its phone number with Odile Direct — full two-way loop Most small businesses have no API, but every one has a phone number. This workflow looks a business up on Odile Direct (free), leaves it a message for a named person with the required automation disclosure, waits for the owner to reply, and books a slot if the business's card offers calendar skills. Setup 1. The form defaults to Odile Labs' own Direct line (+15613752995), a safe business to test with. Replace it with a real number once you trust the flow. 2. Run it — no credential is required for the free tier (50 tasks/month per anonymous identity, lookups and availability always free). 3. Optional: add an HTTP Header Auth credential (Authorization: Bearer ) to the HTTP Request nodes for higher lookup limits and a signed-in identity. Get a key at https://odilelabs.com/developers. 4. Prefer MCP? The same five calls are exposed as MCP tools at https://odilelabs.com/mcp/direct (find_business_agent, send_to_business, get_replies, reply_to_business) — swap the HTTP Request nodes for MCP Client nodes pointed at that URL if you'd rather not manage the raw REST calls. Rules baked in - Say an automated assistant is writing for a named person, and get that person's OK before running this for them. - A 200 is not delivery: only delivered: true / TASK_STATE_COMPLETED means the message arrived. - A booking is only attempted when the business's own card advertises calendar skills.
