Schedule festive Shopify sales with Google Sheets, Slack and GPT-4o-mini

On a schedule, it moves and syncs data with OpenAI / ChatGPT using Google Sheets, Slack.

What it does

# Schedule a festive sale in Shopify with safe price rollback Who it's for: Shopify D2C brands running Diwali and other festive sales. Changing prices by hand at midnight is risky: someone forgets, a price is wrong, or the sale never ends and margins quietly disappear. ## How it works 1. You list each variant, its start and end time and a sale price or discount in a Google Sheet. 2. 24 hours before the start, a preflight check posts which rows are ready and which need fixing. 3. At the start time, prices are set after checks on maximum discount and minimum margin. The old price becomes the compare-at price. Dry-run mode only previews. 4. During the sale, a Slack pulse every 30 minutes shows units, revenue, stock and pace, with an AI-written read and a Roll back now button. 5. At the end time, original prices are restored. A price you changed by hand is never overwritten, unless the policy is "force". A final report follows. ## Setup steps 1. Create a Shopify custom app (read_products, write_products, read_orders) and add its token as Header Auth on the four Shopify HTTP nodes. Set your store in Set Sale Config. 2. Connect Google Sheets, Slack and OpenAI. 3. Create Sale Plan (row_id, sale_id, sale_name, variant_id, start_at, end_at, sale_price or discount_pct, cost, target_units) and Price Change Log tabs, then replace the REPLACE_… IDs. 4. In Set Sale Config, set your n8n domain and change stop_secret, using the same value in Verify Rollback Token. 5. Run in dry-run, check the Slack preview, then set dry_run: false. ## Customization tips Discount limit, minimum margin, rollback policy and low-stock level are in Set Sale Config.
