Draft and send LinkedIn replies with OpenAI, Slack and HeyReagent

On a schedule, it handles email with OpenAI / ChatGPT using Slack.

What it does

## Draft LinkedIn replies with OpenAI and send them after Slack approval via HeyReagent ### Who's it for Founders, consultants and salespeople whose LinkedIn inbox fills up faster than they answer it, and who want every reply read by a person before it goes out. ### How it works 1. Every weekday at 9:00 the workflow refreshes your LinkedIn inbox through HeyReagent's API and lists the people whose last message you have not answered. 2. For each person it reads the whole conversation and has an OpenAI chat model draft a reply in your voice. 3. It sends you the draft in Slack with two buttons. Send it sends the reply from your own LinkedIn account. Skip leaves the conversation alone. 4. It pauses before the next person, so messages do not go out in a burst. ### How to set up 1. Make a free account at heyreagent.com, connect your LinkedIn account, and create a key under Menu, then Developers. 2. Create a Bearer Auth credential with that key and choose it in the four HTTP Request nodes. 3. Add your OpenAI credential to OpenAI Chat Model and your Slack credential to Ask me in Slack, and pick the channel to ask in. 4. Open Settings and write what you do and how you write. 5. Run it once by hand, answer in Slack, then switch the workflow on. ### Requirements - A HeyReagent account with LinkedIn connected (the free plan works) - An OpenAI key, or any other chat model node in its place - A Slack workspace ### How to customize the workflow - Change the hour in Every weekday at 9, and how many people a day in Settings (start with 5; HeyReagent allows 100 messages a day per LinkedIn account). - Swap Slack for Gmail, Telegram or Discord: their "send and wait for response" works the same. - LinkedIn's User Agreement does not allow automated activity. A person approving every message lowers that risk and does not remove it.
