## Turn emailed video briefs into priced PDF quotes with OpenAI, Gmail, Google Sheets and Slack ### Who is it for Video producers and small studios who quote brand clients by email and want every brief priced the same way. ### How it works 1. A client emails a brief with "brief", "quote" or "video project" in the subject. The email, the first PDF and up to three reference images are read. 2. OpenAI pulls out the videos, lengths, deadline and budget. If details are missing, a reply asking for them is saved as a Gmail draft. 3. Plain code prices the job from your Rate Card tab, and you approve the price on Slack. 4. A PDF quote is saved to Google Drive. You choose Send it or Save as draft on Slack, so nothing reaches a client without you. 5. Each morning it checks for replies and drafts follow-ups after 3 quiet days. Each Monday you get a Slack report. ### How to set up - [ ] Connect Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Slack and OpenAI. - [ ] Run Run Once to Set Up one time. It creates the sheet, a Gmail label and a Drive folder. - [ ] Copy the three IDs from Show Your Setup Values into Quote Settings, with your name, email, currency and Slack member ID (Slack profile, three dots, Copy member ID). - [ ] Change the example prices in the Rate Card tab, set your timezone in the workflow settings, and publish. - [ ] Test it with a brief sent from a different address.
