Content Writing & Generation

Post weekly research briefs to Slack with EmpirioLabs AI and data tables

On a schedule, it writes content using Data Table, Slack, Empiriolabs.

What it does

### How it works For teams that follow a few markets, competitors or technologies and want one short update each week. Every Monday at 8:00, the workflow researches each topic on your list with an EmpirioLabs AI model that searches the web. A second EmpirioLabs AI model turns each answer into a few findings, each with a headline, a short summary and one source link. A code step keeps only findings whose link appears in the search answer, so the brief never cites a page the search did not return, and drops links an earlier brief already posted, so nothing repeats. When there is news, a third model writes a short summary from the checked findings alone, and the brief goes to Slack as one message grouped by topic. Topics with nothing new, no sourced findings or failed research are named at the end; a quiet week gets a short note. Posted links are kept in an n8n data table the workflow creates on its first run. ### Setup 1. Install the EmpirioLabs AI community node, n8n-nodes-empiriolabs (tested with 0.1.1). On n8n Cloud, search for EmpirioLabs AI in the nodes panel. On self-hosted n8n, follow the installation guide. 2. Add your EmpirioLabs AI API key as a credential, and connect Slack. 3. In Brief settings, list your topics, one per line, and describe the audience. 4. In Research the topic, choose a web search model (Research & Search category). In Turn answers into findings, choose a chat model that supports JSON output, and in Write the summary, any chat model. 5. In Post the brief to Slack, choose the channel, then run the workflow once and check the message. ### Customization Change the schedule in Every Monday at 8:00, and the lookback period, findings per topic and links table name in Brief settings.
