Tasks & Project Management

Create Backlog issues from Slack thread tasks with Claude Haiku 4.5

When something happens in a connected app, it manages tasks with Claude using Slack.

What it does

## Turn tasks agreed in a Slack thread into Backlog issues Mention the app inside a thread, and the tasks people agreed there ("I'll send it by Friday", "@Sato, can you check this by tomorrow?") become Backlog (Nulab) issues with the assignee and the due date. The app replies in the thread with the links. A second mention does not create them again. ### How it works 1. Someone on the allowed list mentions the app inside a thread. 2. The thread, the Slack names, the Backlog members, issue types, priorities and recent issues are read. 3. Claude lists the agreed tasks and quotes, for each, the message, the words naming who does it ("(speaker)" when the speaker takes it), and the words saying by when. 4. Code checks every quote against that message, matches the assignee to exactly one Backlog member, and computes the due date from the date the message was written ("by Friday" said on Monday is that Friday). 5. Tasks already made from the same message are skipped. The rest become issues; the reply lists them and what to check. ### Setup steps 1. A Slack app with app_mention events, chat:write, channels:history and users:read; invite it to the channel. Add the Slack credential and your Slack member ID to allowed_slack_users in Config. 2. Backlog: Personal settings > API key; an n8n Query Auth credential with the name apiKey. 3. Anthropic credential. 4. Fill Config (space URL, project key, defaults, optional Slack→Backlog name map), publish, and mention the app in a thread. ### Customization Add more date expressions in Check and build, or post the list to a channel instead of the thread.
