Translate Audio and Speak It Back with OpenAI
When a webhook receives an audio file, the workflow transcribes it, translates and structures the text with OpenAI, creates speech audio in AWS S3 and returns the results.
What it does
## AI Audio Translator with Text-to-Speech This workflow automatically transcribes audio files, translates the content between languages, and generates speech from the translated text. ### Who's it for - Content creators working with multilingual content - Businesses needing audio translation services - Educational platforms with international audiences - Anyone needing quick audio-to-audio translation ### How it works 1. Upload to S3 for storage and delivery 6. Return results with both text versions and audio URL ### How to set up 1. Create OpenAI API credentials 2. Set up AWS S3 bucket with public read permissions 3. Configure webhook path 4. Test with POST request containing: - Audio file (binary) - Languages parameter (e.g., "English, Spanish") ### Requirements - OpenAI API key (for Whisper and GPT-4) - AWS account with S3 access - S3 bucket for audio storage ### How to customize - Change GPT model for different translation quality - Adjust voice settings in text-to-speech - Add language detection if source unknown - Implement file size limits - Add webhook authentication
